Finally, my very own menstrual blog!

This is very exciting. Since I started working on this project in the spring of 2011, I’ve encountered so many positive reactions and very few negative ones. People – and when I say people I mean mainly women – are really keen to talk about their periods. Or periods in general. After all, a lot of us have them every month, and a lot of those who don’t worry about it. Because of the menstrual taboo that fact seems to be hushed up, and while this isn’t a blog post or research project aiming to talk endlessly about the taboo, it is one that tries to engage with it in an un-shameful way. I’ll be posting my research, adventures, trials and tribulations to this blog and do hope you’ll find it as fascinating as I do.
